STERLING – Stevie Dawn Thomas, 18 of Sterling died Tuesday August 8, 2017 from injuries sustained in an automobile crash in Ogle County.

She was born on January 15, 1999 in Dixon, the daughter of Scott E. and Bonnie (Jacob) Thomas. She had been working in food service in local restaurants at the time of her death.
Survivors include her father, Scott E. Thomas of Rock Falls; her sisters: Danielle Grennan of Rock Falls and Amie Thomas of Dixon; her brother Devin Jacob of Rock Falls; her paternal grandfather Mike Thomas of Rock Falls and her nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother Bonnie Jacob; her brother Ryne Thomas and her maternal and paternal grandmothers.

Visitation is Saturday August 12, 2017 from 11 – 1 PM at the McDonald Funeral Home & Crematory 1002 12th Avenue in Rock Falls. The funeral will follow at 1 PM with the Reverend Scott Porter officiating.
