ROCK FALLS – Deloras J. Morgan, age 89, died Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at CGH Medical Center, Sterling.
Deloras was born on June 1, 1925 in Rock Falls the daughter of Frank and Mildred (Dobson) Russell. She married James Morgan Sr. on July 18, 1942 in Kahoka, MO. Deloras was employed for many years as an Assembler with G.E. in Morrison retiring in 1977.
Survivors include, her husband, James Morgan Sr. of Rock Falls; two daughters, Judy (Jim) Buzard and Nancy Morgan of Rock Falls; two sons, Gary (Terri) Morgan of DeWitt, Iowa and Dennis (Mary) Morgan of Virginia, Ill; one sister, Lois Como of Rock Falls; one brother, Alvin (Mary Jane) Russell of Rock Falls; one daughter-in-law, Ardis of Sterling;18 grandchildren; 35 great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by 2 sons, James Morgan Jr. and Richard Eugene Morgan; 6 brothers; 4 sisters.
Visitation will be from 10:00 – 11:00 AM Monday, April 6, 2015 at the McDonald Funeral Home in Rock Falls. Funeral services at 11:00 AM Monday at the funeral home with Reverend Chad Clardie of The Life Church of the Nazarene, Watertown, N.Y. officiating. Burial will follow at Coloma Township Cemetery.
A memorial has been established.
