ROCK FALLS - On Thursday September 26, 2019, Elsie L. Orlando peacefully went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Her youngest Son was with her at the time of her passing.

Elsie was born on August 6, 1942 to Carl and Martha Hinrichs in Sterling. Elsie was married on April 23, 1966 to Carmen L. Orlando. He preceded her in death on May 17, 1992. Elsie was a Homemaker and devout Christian; a member of Amazing Grace Church.
She loved the Lord with all her heart as well as her four children.

Survivors include her sons: Gary Orlando, Edward (Mary) Orlando, Jamie (Eric Olson) Orlando; her daughter Tracy (Shannon) Hill; her step son John (Kim) Orlando; her Grand Daughter Madison Orlando; many Nieces and Nephews and Step Grandchildren; one Brother, Daniel (Donna) Hinrichs, and her niece Mary Cantrell

Elsie was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers.

A gathering of friends and family will be held on Sunday October 6, 2019 from 3-5 PM at Amazing Grace Church, 512 2nd Avenue in Sterling. A memorial Service will follow at 5 PM.

In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established.
