Frances D. Worrell, 83, of Milledgeville, died on Monday morning, May 15, 2017 at her home.

Frances was born on August 19, 1933 the daughter of Delbert and Ethel (Meek) Tomlinson. She was united in marriage to Bruce Worrell on April 20, 1956. He preceded her in death February 13, 1987.

Frances enjoyed working crossword puzzles, playing scrabble and playing Skip-Bo with her neighbor and Euchre with her family. She enjoyed coffee with the coffee ladies, weekly shopping trips to Walmart and going to lunch. She also loved her daily "stories" and watching Food Network on TV.

Those left to honor her memory include her daughter Patti Worrell of Dixon; a son Doug (Gail) Worrell of Sublette; 2 grandsons Derick (Melissa) Newton and Dominic Worrell; and 2 great grandsons Parker and Trevor Newton. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and two brothers Leighton and Gerald "Jerry" Tomlinson.

Visitation will be from 10-11 AM on Thursday at McDonald Funeral Home, 520 N. Holcomb Avenue in Milledgeville. The funeral will follow at 11 AM at the funeral home with Chaplain Rita Wolf officiating. Burial will be at Oak Knoll Memorial Park in Sterling. A memorial has been established to the Milledgeville Fire Department in her memory. To send condolences visit
