Michael R. Feldthouse, 37, of Manteca, CA formerly of Sterling died Friday, November 18, 2016 following injuries from an automobile accident near Mojave, Calif.
Michael was born March 18, 1979 in Sterling, a son of Michael D. and Linda K. (Williams) Feldthouse. He married Rebecca Jo Sumner on September 15, 2001 at Como Baptist Church in Sterling.
Michael worked for Waste Management as a manager and was a 1998 graduate of Sterling High School. He enjoyed woodworking and was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. Mike had a strong work ethic and was quite the jokester. He did some traveling including taking a couple of cruises with his wife and family. He and his wife were foster parents early on and his wife and children were his world. Mike loved his boxer Jazmyn.
Those left to honor his memory include his wife, Rebecca of Sterling; his father Michael Feldthouse of Sterling; his mother Linda Stull of Sterling; his daughters, Lyberti Jo Feldthouse and Paizley Grayce Feldthouse; a son Austyn Mykel Feldthouse; a brother Joshua Ryan Feldthouse of Loves Park; a step sister Amanda Stull of Dixon; his paternal grandmother Louella Wilson of Sterling and maternal grandfather Robert Williams of Sterling; several nieces, nephews and many special friends; his mother and father in law, Samuella "Sam" (Byron) Myers; his sisters in law, Sandra Sumner and Nancylee Limond; and his grandmother in law, Nancy Bushong.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother Nora Williams, his step grandfather Raymond Wilson and his step father David Stull.
Visitation will be from 11 AM – 1 PM Wednesday, November 30 at McDonald Funeral Home in Rock Falls. The funeral will follow at 1 PM at the funeral home with Pastor Dalmus Meeks officiating. Cremation will follow the services. A memorial is being established for his children.
