Robert Thomas Jurkens
Tom Jurkens, age 74, of Sterling, died Monday, November 22, 2021 at Rock River Hospice and Home.
Tom was born July 8, 1947 in Sterling the son of Robert and Leona (Regan) Jurkens. He was an avid musician and sports fan. Tom also enjoyed reading.
He is survived by his sister, Mary Jo (Paul) Leseman of Phoenix, Ariz.; his brother, Larry (Sandy) Jurkens of Blue Grass, Iowa; two nieces, Monica Fleming and Dena Leseman; one nephew, Jonathan (Jenny) Leseman; and two great nephews, Conor Fleming and Nicholas Fleming.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one nephew, Matthew Leseman.
A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
