Robin G. Flynn, age 53 of Sterling, died Saturday, November 9, 2019 at CGH Medical Center in Sterling.

Robin was born on October 31, 1966 in Rockford, the daughter of Fred and Mary (Harding) Frazier. She married Theodore "Ted" Flynn on July 19, 1985 in Sterling. Robin worked at Burger King as the restaurant manager for many years. She was an avid Chicago Cubs and Chicago Bears fan. She enjoyed bowling, doing puzzles, music and attending rock concerts, and she loved her dog, Buddy.

Survivors include her husband, Ted; one daughter, Larissa (Steve) Blum of Sterling; one son, Kyle (Maggie Wolf) Flynn of Sterling; her parents, Mary (Fred) Frazier of Lexington, NC; six grandchildren, Kaitlyn (Bow) Ekquist, Stephen (Bailey Gutierrez) Blum, Morgan Blum, Nina Aldridge, Lilly Flynn and Ryleigh Flynn; two great grandchildren, Oliver Blum and Sonny Evans; four sisters, Mary (Jerry) Thomas of Dixon, Paula Drake of Rockford, Rosemary (Art) Smith of Naples, FL and Faye (Jeff) Martin of Denton, NC; three brothers, Tim Drake of Lexington, NC, Tom Drake of Lexington, NC and Frederick (Liz) Frazier of Lexington, NC; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by one brother in infancy.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Wednesday, November 13, 2019 from 5:00-7:00 P.M. at the McDonald Funeral Home in Rock Falls, 1002 12th Avenue.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital in her memory.
